For nearly three decades, we have partnered with Stuvex to produce high-performance hot gas generators used in advanced dust explosion suppression systems. Our expertise ensures reliable and immediate response when it matters most.

Since 1996, APP has been producing hot gas generators that play a vital role in dust explosion suppression systems supplied by our customer Stuvex. These systems are designed to detect a dust explosion in its earliest, embryonic stage. Once detected, the system immediately responds to prevent further propagation of the explosion. This is achieved through the ultra-fast discharge of an extinguishing powder, which halts the developing explosion before it can cause damage. The required pressure for this rapid discharge is generated by APP’s fast gas generator — an unpressurized device capable of pressurizing the system within just a few milliseconds after activation. Our long-standing collaboration with Stuvex demonstrates APP’s commitment to safety, reliability, and precision engineering in protecting industrial environments against the devastating effects of dust explosions.
