Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you have end-to-end responsibility for the development, manufacturing, and delivery of rocket engine ignition systems and space gas generators for one or more customers.

You will:

  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams (engineering, procurement, production, specialists)
  • Act as the main point of contact for customers and external stakeholders
  • Ensure project execution within scope, budget, planning, and quality requirements
  • Coordinate new product developments and delta developments in products and processes
  • Report on project progress, financials, risks, and opportunities to the Management Team
  • Drive continuous improvement of products and production processes (cost, quality, OTD)
  • Contribute to supply chain and manufacturing process improvements
  • Prepare and negotiate proposals with customers

Profile

You are an experienced project professional or ready to grow into a Project Manager role, with a strong technical background, a proactive mindset, and the ambition to take ownership of complex projects in a high-tech aerospace environment. Furthermore, you bring the following background and capabilities:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical discipline
  • Project management certification (IPMA / PMI) is a plus
  • Experience with product development planning and industrialization
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. LEAN)
  • Strong focus on costs, planning, risks, and results
  • Independent, proactive, and structured way of working
  • Strong communication skills and ability to motivate multidisciplinary teams
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
