Background & Opportunity

The growing satellite market offers new opportunities in medium- and low-thrust propulsion systems for attitude control and de-orbiting. In this assignment, you will explore how APP’s expertise can be applied to satellite propulsion systems, combining technical development with a market-driven approach.

 

Tasks & Objectives

  • Analyze state-of-the-art propulsion systems and APP heritage
  • Perform a market study on satellite propulsion opportunities
  • Translate APP technology into satellite propulsion concepts
  • Conduct feasibility study and preliminary system design
  • Characterize performance and document results

Deliverables

  • Overview of market opportunities
  • Preliminary propulsion system design and characterization
  • Final report
  • Presentation of findings and proposed concept

Profile

  • MSc student in Aerospace Engineering
  • Independent, proactive and analytical mindset
  • Motivated, flexible and reflective
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and/or English
