The Assignment

We are offering an exciting graduation project focused on the future of modular and reusable ignition systems. As the space industry moves toward cost reduction and sustainability, APP is exploring innovative approaches to designing adaptable systems that can serve a variety of applications.

In this assignment, you will contribute to research and concept development, while also gaining valuable insights into how modern engineering techniques — such as advanced design and manufacturing methods — can support aerospace innovation.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Investigate current approaches and future trends in ignition systems.
  • Contribute to the early-stage analysis of a modular and reusable design.
  • Explore the potential role of advanced manufacturing in aerospace applications.
  • Support feasibility and design studies.
  • Summarize results in a professional report and final presentation.

Profile

Candidate Profile

  • Student in Aerospace Engineering (or a related technical study at university level).
  • Independent, proactive, and motivated.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills in Dutch and English.
